Kent is known as the Garden County of England, and a visit to Rowhill Grange Hotel definitely helps you to understand why. As you drive up to the hotel, you begin to get an idea of its “away from it all” atmosphere, and quickly forget that the hustle and bustle of the Bluewater Shopping Centre is a mere 15 minutes’ drive away!
The grounds are gorgeous - and there are 15 acres to explore, with winding pathways between the trees and rose bushes, and even a pond to find. It really is a wonderfully peaceful setting and, of course, would make the perfect backdrop to some lovely wedding photos.
The main hotel building has quite a colonial look about it and, inside, is decorated and furnished in a sophisticated, contemporary style which works really well. I should also mention the fabulous Utopia Spa, which would be the ideal place for some pre-wedding pampering!
Adjacent to the main hotel is a pretty, thatched building called The Clockhouse, and this is where wedding ceremonies and receptions are usually held. I think it’s fantastic that your celebrations will be separate from the public areas of the hotel, so you can really just relax and enjoy your exclusive surroundings on your special day.
The largest room is light and bright, and can be decorated to suit your colour scheme or theme, and is a wonderfully comfortable space to accommodate all your guests. There is also a really pretty smaller room, which is perfect for those intimate ceremonies and celebrations.
If you like the idea of an outdoor wedding, then you must see the gazebo. This sits on a large grassy area, with a fantastic, long, paved walkway - so no worries about bridal heels sinking into the lawn!
Whatever sort of wedding day you have in mind, I think you would easily be able to make it happen here. With friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff on hand, and such beautiful surroundings, I can absolutely understand why Rowhill Grange is such a popular wedding venue - and would make the ideal place to celebrate your anniversaries, too!
